Hexarelin (HEX)

Growth Hormone Clinical trials

Hexarelin is a synthetic hexapeptide growth hormone secretagogue and one of the most potent GH-releasing peptides developed. It acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHS-R1a) to stimulate growth hormone release from the pituitary gland. Hexarelin is distinguished by its notably strong cardioprotective properties, independent of its GH-releasing effects. Research has shown Hexarelin protects cardiac tissue through activation of specific cardiac receptors and modulation of calcium handling. Unlike some other GHRPs, Hexarelin maintains its GH-releasing efficacy with repeated administration, though it may still be subject to some desensitization over extended use periods.
