GHRP-2 (GHRP2)

Growth Hormone Clinical trials

GHRP-2 (Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide-2) is a synthetic hexapeptide that acts as a potent growth hormone secretagogue by binding to the ghrelin/growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). Unlike GHRH which acts on a different receptor, GHRP-2 stimulates GH release through activation of hypothalamic neurons and direct pituitary effects. GHRP-2 is considered one of the most potent peptides in its class, producing significant GH release with each administration. The peptide also stimulates appetite through ghrelin receptor activation and has shown effects on cortisol and prolactin levels. GHRP-2 works synergistically with GHRH analogs for amplified GH release.
